A UMBC Ph.D. Candidate Receives Prestigious FINESST Fellowship

UMBC’s Qianqian Song is one of just 59 people to receive the Future Investigators in NASA EArth and Space Science Technology (FINESST) Fellowship. In the course of three years, Song will study the effects of dust clouds on global climate with UMBC’s Zhibo Zhang, associate professor of physics.

UMBC launches Cybersecurity Global University Network with 5 other Universities

UMBC Takes First Place in BMEidea Competition

UMBC is known for its innovation, and one team of UMBC students recently proved why. A team of three UMBC graduates presented their innovative work at the 2019 BMEidea competition and took home first place.
