The pharmaceutical industry is booming, and that’s good news for students of UMBC’s M.P.S. Biotechnology graduate program and the new Transitional Life Science Technology (TLST) program. In fact, the state of Maryland gives biotechnology incentive credits to help grow the biotechnology industry. That results in a lot of opportunity for our students. In this week’s Industry Roundup, we take a look at how the pharmaceutical industry is geared up for a race to find a cure that is silently killing at least 30 million Americans.
